The previous week was a really busy one that’s why I didn’t have time to upload new photos, sorry guys!

I was almost every day at the university for various procedures and meetings and to be honest, I still haven’t finished! Tomorrow my courses start though!!:) I can’t wait:)

What I like doing here in Brussels is to walk. Basically, I go almost everywhere on foot!:) I mean, I have always loved walking, but here I walk about 6 km per day! I have killed my feet and shoes:( The weather of course helps, since it is still relatively warm and sunny most of the days. So, for as long as I can, I will continue walking that much!

The following photos are taken at Sablon, one of my favorite areas in the city and to be more precise, in a beautiful park called “Le petit Sablon”. For those who know, the area is very attractive, full of antiques shops and art galleries.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything special?

On Friday, like I had told you, it was my orientation day:) We were welcomed to the university and learned some details regarding our program. People from all over the world will attend the master I have chosen, it is so interesting and fascinating! From Belgium, of course, Israel, France, Italy, USA, Colombia, Russia, Germany…. I can’t wait for the classes to finally begin:) For the time being, I already search for my master thesis topic, since we have to submit it early October the latest. Although I graduated from my Bachelor program like a century ago , I believe I will get used to studying again, easily:)

The weekend passed by very quickly. On Saturday I spent the day outside, as it was sunny! But yesterday it was such a heavy day, the clouds seemed to almost reach the ground!  And during the night there was a heavy storm that almost frightened me, because of the thunders and lightning! Typical Belgian weather I suppose:(

I had totally forgotten I had taken these photos! They are actually about 2 weeks old – right before I left – and were taken before I went to the baptism of a dear friend’s baby:) It reminds me just how much I already miss all my friends! Luckily, there is Skype:):):)

Tomorrow is my orientation day:) My postgraduate studies officially begin! I couldn’t have been more excited and happy and grateful than I am now:) For so many reasons that is difficult to explain here… Maybe in time:)

Yesterday I paid a visit to the university, just to see it and also see the exact location. I realized that I already knew the surrounding area, which is lovely and very convenient regarding where I live.

Since I had spent a few months in Brussels last year, I now feel very comfortable. Besides, people here are very easy going and very used to living with foreigners, like me, from all over the world actually! I like the fact that when you walk you can listen to so many languages! My French unfortunately need to be dusted:( I attended courses in the past for a time period of more than 10 years, but now I remember so little… So, along with my studies and my German courses, I need to freshen up my French as well!

I will tell you all about my first day!:)

The week that starts will be a rather busy one for me, but I can’t wait:) My weekend was lovely, I met with some friends and hanged around the city since the weather was so nice! I walked so much that now I have blisters in my feet that hurt:(

Hello everyone!

Some of you that have been following me for a year may remember the following photos. For the rest of you that are more recent visitors of my web space, these outfits were photographed last August. As I was searching through blog’s posts today, I realized that these two dresses are two of my all-time favourites!:) Their fabrics, details and colors enclose the essence of what I like wearing and maybe a little of who I am. I wore them a lot this summer as well:)

This is my second day in Brussels and I already miss summer. I miss not the laziness of it, but all the colors around me and specially that of my homecountry’s sea….

On Monday, it is the first day of my post-graduate studies! I feel very excited and motivated, although I also feel a little “obsolete” regarding studies in general, since ages have passed since my bachelor studies!;-);-) But I am sure I am going to be just fine!

Therefore this year – or better, this academic year:) – I am going to spend it in Brussels. I hope you will like the photos, as I will try to take as many as possible!

After this year, who knows….:)
