Packing for Zurich!!!

I have been visiting Zurich quite often for the past two years, as my brother lives there. I really like this city! Well…to be honest with you, I love everything about it, except for the weather during winter, as it is quite cold. Today for example, he told me that snow fell heavily. This is no good news for me because – as I mentioned in my previous post – I don’t have many clothes that suit such low temperatures. Actually, I have been checking my wardrobe all day long and haven’t found any appropriate piece. At least I have warm coats! That is something…

This morning I visited an H&M store, located in the center of Thessaloniki in order to check out the latest collaboration with Lanvin. Well, I didn’t see a thing! All the pieces were sold on November 23th, the day the collection was launched, in just two hours! I will try to find the collection in Zurich, but I doubt I buy anything. Depending on what I ‘ve seen in the Media, I honestly expected more from such a collaboration. The whole collection seems boring and cheap. I only liked a couple of dresses, which I’ll try to find in Zurich. So, instead of buying something from this collection, I ended up buying the blouse I am wearing in the following pictures. I saw the pearls and the sparkly stones and said to myself: “here we are!” I matched it with a really old vintage tulle skirt, boots from Rococo and a coat from Hugo Boss.

Rhinestone leggings

Ever since I can remember myself, my clothes have never been plain, but always have some kind of rhinestones, embellishments, sequins… Never just plain fabric!!! I adore sparkly things and never get tired of them. My wardrobe is full of such clothes and accessories. You’ ll see through time…! Moreover, i don’t like “heavy” fabrics such as wool but prefer “lighter” ones, like silk. Even during winter, you will barely see me wearing anything made of wool. Of course, the winters here in Greece are anything but heavy and this allows me to wear the light clothes that I like.
The rhinestone leggings that I wear in the photos were bought during the previous week from MaxMara and I loved them from the moment I layed my eyes on them! I wore them with a silk dress from Zara, bought two summers ago (if I recall correctly!), a Gerard Darel coat and my favourite Tod’s booties.

Sunny days are still here…

Sunny days, at least up to yesterday, when the pictures that follow were taken. Today…. well, not that good! I hope it is only temporary! Anyway, i was photographed right before i go to my Deutsch course. Lately, i rarely wear jeans, i usually wear dresses. But this pair of Faith Religion jeans is one of my favourites. My silk blouse and trench coat belong to a firm called Rococo.  You’ll see me wearing many of their clothes and i hope you’ll realise why i love it that much!

One hot summer day!

The last few days, the weather is really hot in Greece. It feels more like April than November! This is why you won’t see me wearing coats yet (besides, i don’t like much low temperatures and heavy clothes!). Therefore, me and my boyfriend – Dimitris – went for a walk to a forest next to his house. I hadn’t been there for ages! It was beautiful, even though my shoes were deepened in the mud!! Our walk had to be short though, as i had to return early to the house and study German cause i am writing a quiz tomorrow!!!
