I only used to wear certain beauty products, such as Diorskin Forever Compact in 040 from Dior, Blush Subtil from Lancome, DiorShow Extase Mascara from Dior and any type of black eye pencil. I still buy these products, but additionally, I have started buying huge amounts of other beauty products as well and mostly lipsticks, especially during the last 2 years. I have a true passion for lipsticks! I will present you my collection in another post… I also buy nail colors, mostly Chanel and Dior. With the exception of lipsticks, I buy beauty products not necessarily to use them, but just because I like the colors, odours, packaging…. I know: I am a true victim of marketing! As far as parfums are concerned, I absolutely adore and I am totally dedicated to Narciso Rodriguez For Her (Musc Collection, eau de parfum intense) and Chloe eau de parfum. I also like Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea. Another thing I like is face and body moisturizers, but again, I will deal with this matter another time, maybe within the week!
Below, there is a random selection of beauty products that I own!
On Sunday we went on a small excursion to Old St. Panteleymonas, a tiny traditional village on mountain Olympus and then to another village called Leptokarya, located by the sea, both not far from Thessaloniki. The weather was beautiful, even though mount Olympus still has a lot of snow. Mostly, I enjoyed walking by the sea… I’ ve missed swimming so much!
I wore a pair of Fornarina jeans, bag and shoes Tod’s, lace cardigan and top from Rococo and trench coat Mariella de Mariella Burani, and of course, my new Linda Farrow Luxe sunglasses!
The pictures that follow were actually all taken at Gstaad. The route towards it from Zurich was really nice! The image of the Alps is so spectacular! The village is full of chalets, that is mountain houses made of wood, but luxurious. We stayed at Gstaad Palace, a very well – known hotel, famous for its rich and famous guests… I must say that I really enjoyed being there. We took long walks throughout the village and did a little shopping. I mostly enjoyed swimming in the outdoors pool – you may see it in a couple o photos – overlooking the mountains!
In the following 3 pictures I wear a silk Paul & Joe Sister sequined top, Valentino Red Jeans and -once again!- my favourite Tod’s booties.
For my first night at Gstaad Palace I had chosen to wear a silk tutu and a pearl – beaded cardigan from Rococo, a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Design peep – toes and a python clutch.
I had a really wonderful time in Switzerland for a whole week! It was the 10th time I have visited Zurich, but the first to explore other parts of the country. I spent 3 days in Gstaad – and stayed at the magnificent Gstaad Palace- and also visited Montreux and Lausanne. The good weather only made this trip even more pleasant! Zurich, is where my brother lives and works for over 2 years now. Every time I visit the city, my first stop is its gorgeous lake (and then, the famous Bahnhofstrasse and surounding little roads!). I always walk around it for hours. Only during this trip did I miss visiting it due to lack of time, this is why I have no pictures of it. But I will upload pictures of the lake another time…Pictures of Gstaad, Montreux and Lausanne will follow tomorrow!
