Hello dear all!

I am back to Thessaloniki! I will only stay for a few days though,  but still, I cannot describe how happy I am! Seeing my boyfriend after 1 month was amazing…After 4 1/2 years together, this is the longest we have stayed apart! I had missed his touch, his smell, teasing him… And of course I had missed my parents and friends:) I tend to believe that the absence only makes the heart to grow fonder:)

Since one of my favourite subjects is the weather, let me inform you that the temperatures here have nothing to do with Zurich’s!! It is SO hot! But hey, it is a typical greek summer:) I feel totally satisfied now and plan to spend the next few days by the sea! I will try to re – acquire my lost sun tanning:)

Nevertheless, the last thing that I have on my mind this summer is the sea. I have other issues, more important that preoccupy me, like will I stay in Zurich or go somewhere else in Europe? Life is so funny and strange… You just never know how things turn. Sometimes life itself decides for you, this is something I have learned pretty well in previous years. This doesn’t mean that I am a fatalistic person. The opposite I would say. I strongly believe that we and only we are responsible for our way through the path of life. It is up to us to even turn certain things or events in life into stepping – stones. Try to follow this… I try hard to follow it myself:)

As the title suggests, the weather here in Zurich is not fine at all! It keeps raining every day, the whole day! I hate this! I never wear black clothes during summer. But here, I actually do:) Every time I speak on the phone with someone from Greece, I whine about the temperature, but I can’t hep it!!How is it possible during July the temperature to be 15 degrees??!

Are you guys away for vacations or not yet? What are your plans? I still don’t know yet, because things going on here may not let me go for vacations, but it will be for the best! Even though I am leaving for Greece for just a few days!

The photos that follow were taken during Saturday. I spent the whole day out, it was beautiful! Late morning, I went for breakfast to Spruengly, one of Europe’s most renowned confectioners, dating back to 1836. The photo with the shrimps depict what I ate:) And then, I went shopping and hanged out for hours! Some of you may think that my outfit is not appropriate for day light: satin and lace and sequins and crystals, all together… But, to tell you the truth, it is very typical of me! I believe that clothes should have no “perfect hour” to be worn! Whatever makes someone’s mood:)

On Sunday on the contrary, I spent the whole day inside, because it didn’t stop raining for a second and the temperature was very low:( Poor me! I have brought only summer clothes, not winter! Sandals, not boots! Oh well, I spent the day browsing and reading.Oh! And eating!:)

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? I am fine! Even though the weather here is not fine at all! Actually, the sky is black the last few days and not even a day passes by without rain! Today it looks better though, I hope we skip it!

Anyway, today I chose to make a beauty post, as I love looking at other bloggers’ beauty products! And oh boy! Do I have countless of them…!!! I keep buying anything that catches my eye. But I have brought with me here in Zurich only a few of what I own… I have left the majority back home. Not that I miss them of course!

So, here we have Divinora All – Over Powder in Fairy White by Guerlain, Pure Color Eyeshadow Black Crystals Metallic fromEstee Lauder and Lip gloss from Dior

 That is one of my last lipsticks – I am totally addicted! It is Estee Lauder Double Wear in Stay Magnolia. I loved the color – pink/ peach – and it stays on the lips forever!

 Lately, I bought for the first time something from Clinique. More precise, I bought the Even Better skin tone moisturizer SPF 20. It is great! I have been using it for a month and I actually have seen my skin tone becoming more even! Next to it, there is Green Tea Honey Drops Body Cream from Elizabeth Arden. I bought it when I was in Florence. It is really soft and has this incredible smell! Finally, there is the famous Beauty Flash Balm from Clarins. I have read so many articles in magazines for this particular product… It can be used either as a moisturizer or a facial mask. I have used it many times and it actually does what it promises: it gives your skin radiance in a flash!

In the last photo, there is Lip Color in Tangerine from Laura Mercier and Hydra Zen Neurocalm from Lancome. Such a delicate cream – gel! And it has a great smell, roses!
